Description
Designed for in-person vehicle inspections in the European market, this service evaluates the vehicle’s overall condition by focusing on the wheels and running gear. Inspectors begin by examining tire manufacturing dates, tread depth, uneven wear patterns, and tire pressure compatibility, subsequently extending the inspection to wheel rim deformation, bearing noise, and suspension linkage bushing displacement.
Vehicle-wide checks cover the integrity of the underbody protective coating, exhaust system corrosion levels, fuel tank skid plate security, and signs of water accumulation in the spare tire well. Powertrain assessments include inspecting the oil filler cap for carbon deposits, checking the timing cover for leaks, and measuring alternator belt tension.
Upon client request, additional services such as on-site four-wheel alignment verification, subjective damping performance ratings for shock absorbers, or steering tie-rod end play checks can be included. The report uses a red-yellow-green coding system to highlight key findings and provides recommendations on maintenance priorities.
